    Hi there,
    I collect early U.S. stoneware, especially art deco and art nouveau forms. I am stumped as to the maker of this low footed bowl, and I surely hope that someone recognizes it and can tell me what it is.

    I thought it could be a reproduction of a Teco piece, but to me, it appears old, based on the glaze, slight hairpins, etc.. There are a lot of glaze pops in one spot, and firing pin marks on the bottom.

    What do you think??

      I have this same low bowl in a matte green. Did you ever find out where/who made it? Thanks!

      I believe it's early Heager Pottery

      Sorry, The correct spelling is Haeger.

      They had a limited palette of glazes on earlier pieces. Search “Haeger geranium leaf green” and see if the glaze is a match to your bowl.

      Hi! I never did. Early Harger makes sense since it would have had a sticker label. Would you sell your green bowl? I’d be interested as I love my white one. Thanks!
