    Im guessing this is a early pic of Johnny Cash?Would any one out there think it is him?If not who is your guess it is?I found it in the back of a Roy Rogers pic!!

      But didn't Bill Monroe play a mandolin, not a guitar?

      I don't know this man's name but I do know he was one of the Sons of Pioneers. This was long years ago. I doubt Cash was born when this was taken.

      The guitar is electric so not to far back maybe 1960's ? The old guys played acoustic

      Good point Manikin, electric guitars didn't come out until the 1930's but this guy was one of the original Sons that backed up Roy. I will retract my statement that Cash probably wasn't born because he was born in 32.

      Look up Carl Farr images related to Roy or the Sons and I think you will find a match.

      Thanks fhr :-) I just wondered why the electric guitar coming from a guitar playing family . I am gladyou pointed out age . I am wayyyyy to young to know this guy LOL :-) Happy New Year and wishing you the best and thankful to call you friend fhr :-)
