This is an official U.S. government Presidential Medal issued in 1977 to commemorate the inauguaration of Jimmy Carter as the 39th President of the United States. Carter served as President from 1977-1981. The obverse features Carter's bust facing left ; the reverse features the Great Seal of the United States - Genuine U.S. Mint Issue, it measures 1 5/16" in diameter. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - The base metal is bronze and it is in Proof Condition.
