Just brought this home from GW's. I'm going with "something olde". It's very thick and heavy glass with a bit of a "ring" to it but I don't think it's lead crystal. The bottom is very unusual. It has a very distinct pontil with what looks like another layer of glass that has started to chip at the edges. Not sure if it had a stopper or not. The interior of the neck is smooth and not ground to insure a tight fit. It's in over all excellent shape except for the chipping on the bottom which really doesn't show. -Mike-

Sure old, what is the color under black light? Yellow?

That I couldn't tell you kivatinitz. I don't have a black light handy. I do have a black light poster bulb but that does seem to work in the same way. Now you have me curious. Would there be any significance if it did ? -Mike-
