    1ST PIC : IS THIS A OLD STYLE BEER CAN MISPRINT ??? 2ND PIC : IS A PABST BLUE RIBBON " NO OPENER NEEDED" CAN WITH 120v TOGGLE SWITCH LIGHTING SYSTEM. SEEMS TO BE A ROUND SPECIALTY BULB . THE FILAMENT IS LONG AND WIGGLES AROUND LIKE CRAZY INSIDE A GREEN COLORED BULB ........ IS IT AN ADVERTISER ITEM PRODUCE BY PABST MARKETEERS OR SOMETHING MADE IN A CRAFTERS BASEMENT.SMELLS LIKE IT COULD BE A LITTLE OF BOTH. ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED.THANKS FOR LOOKING.

      The Pabst Light - these were made in the 1970's, lot's of different beers and sodas. The bulbs were available in different colors. The filament was supposed to wiggle like that - flicker effect. - You could also use them with regular bulbs.

      COOL , THANKS FOR RESPONDING . DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY WERE CALLED OR REFERRED TO ??? WERE THEY SOLD TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC OR COMMERCIAL ADVERTISING USE LIKE TAVERN PROPRIETER ??? WHERE WOULD YOU PURCHASE THEM ???

      I believe they were called "flicker lamps" - at least that's what we called them.
      General merchandise - I had the Pabst like yours, my sister had a 7-up. - 1970's
