I have long admired this pottery from the arts/crafts or Deco/Nouveau period in Japan [1890-1940]. I don't see it very often, except when there's a huge price tag on it. I found this one on Ebay the other day and it was not marked as 'Awaji', so i was able to get it relatively cheap. i'm not sure why, but it's not showing up in my purchased items section of ebay. i paid less than $25 for it and it's in perfect condition. so you still can find some good deals on ebay, if you look hard enough.
