Just found this hidden in a box in the pantry. Probably a coffee bottle from the 50's or there abouts. the only markings on it are "F578" "F8" "M" & another smaller m in a turret looking thing. It's 5ins square 7-1/4 ins high and3-3/4ins across the lid, which is tin brass coated "worn away" through yrs of use and there is a bit of surface rust in side it.
PS, The white spot in the bottle is actually in the glass, put there when the bottle was made. There is a slight lump in the glass inside where it is. Hard to tell what it is.
