    "Union K" dishes, etc were Made in Czecho-Slovakia, approx 1921 the first of their porcelain factories opened. Until 1939 all of their factories were closed.

      Thank you sean68, I have several different kind of dishes. These are the only ones that I have had the time to find this much info on. Do you know anything about this set? and I wonder why there is goldish brown stamped numbers beside the "Union K" stamp on the back. If you or anyone has any idea, please let me know.

      The numbers are probably the artists number. Some European companies did that instead of allowing them to use their initials

      Maryh1956. Thanks for ur comments too. I didn't know that at all & it's different. There r several different numbers (ex 3-15 ) on the plates, like #8 on one then # 14 on another.
