My grandfather was a machinist for Ford Motor Co. sometime in the late 1920's, he left them and went to work for Union Tool Co. The tool box was not in great shape when it was given to me. I did some restoral and I'm having the lock on the front repaired.

My father-in-law was a tool and die maker for Lufin Rule in Saginaw Michigan for over 35 years. We have 3 of his boxes along with many Lufkin rulers.I have one metal rule that he made for Joann to use in doing her homework. To the best of my knowledge it is the only one ever made. Thanks for sharing with us and for the walk down memory lane.
