    I have had this for a while now. Just pulled it out of my grandfathers garage. I know its WWI but thats it. Anyone have any idea about is helmet and are they collectable?

      That is very neat! A friend Of mine Gave Me A World War II HAt which Is a little different From Yours. I am missing the inner peice! i dont know if i should Clean It up Real Good or leave The way it is! I don't Know Very Much about mine neither!

      Very cool helmet! They are collectable, WWI is kind of the frogetton war, so most people dont understand it. so they are not worth too much.

      @junkmanjoe- Do not clean the helmet up. Leave it original :)

      This is a M17A1 issued from the mid thirties until WW2. You can get a replacement leather liner for it at Prairy Leather.
