The Bottle lid reads " Erzeugnis Deutsches" Made In Germany/ Product of Germany . It's 7" Tall 5-1/2" wide The Knots are real wood, The sculptured portion feels rough and gritty similar to stucco , Reads .35L on the Bottom of the Bottle. I would to identify This find. Your Help is appreciated!

Whacky Jacky, my resident Kraut, says that it is probably a schnaps made from the mountain genitan which is a blue flower (which obviously grows in the mountains).
OK since it is still factory sealed, should I open it and empty it or do you think that it is better sealed? Do you have any idea of the year made?
She says that schnaps is "good forever" & that it is very expensive. Don't know if that is the date on the bottom. I hope you mean to "empty it" into glasses!
I do not consume alcohol, so not I am sorry, I would empty into the sink. So I should sell it whole as it stand right now.

OK, I am not pouring down the sink, any idea what it is worth. Co-worker offered me $40 it should I take it.
Neither of us know what it is worth. Don't guess you can sell it on Ebay. If you have already been offered $40, you know it is worth at least that. Jacky is getting some colour back after I told her you aren't pouring it out.
