22" x 3.5" x 21" Salesman's demonstrator or store display of a ornamental iron fence with an unusual wrought iron finial. Weighs around 15 pounds. I created the display stand in February 2014. My guess is that the time period for this piece is between 1890 and 1950. I have found no patent information for it. The ornamental buttons on the cross members are shown on a number of patents of the period.

TheGateKeeper, I had a wrought iron fence put in my front yard 19 years ago. It was all custom made. The post were three different pieces welded together with a nice finial on top. Love your collection. Have a great week!

      Thanks Michael,
Sounds as if your fence must be really special. I love the old Victorian fences. The corn fence in New Orleans is my favorite.
