This is an old watch that was in my dads collection. He repaired watches for many years in a small town in SE Texas. His collection was more pocket watches than wrist watches. This watch is in good running order now. I have found some examples but none with diamonds in the case. I'm thinking the diamonds might have been added and not original to the watch. Any information would be great.

The watch according to the bulova date coding is a 1947 model this is verified by the number 47 stamped on the movement and the serial number on the case beginning with a 7. It may have been a special commission by a jeweller for a client. Its a fantastic looking watch
