Just wondering if anyone knows what kind of bike this is. Appraisal please.. I found it at my grandmothers after she passed away. I can't find a marking on it

1950?s J.C. Higgins - of course the front basket is an add-on. - I'll see if I can get you the link to a restored one so you know what it is supposed to look like.
