    Very Fluid piece of glass of AMAZING COLORS. Hand pulled lobes are a bit uneven in height as one is about 4 inches high, while another is about 4.5 inches in height. Amazing hunk of Glass!!!!

    I been advised that this is a 1955 Skrdlovice popelnik (aka an ashtray), designed by M. Veliskova and Rudolf Beranek......pattern number 5563.

    The *co-designing* of items at Skrdlovice was apparently encouraged though M. Veliskova and Rudolf Beranek generally designed separately. Super Shape, and Super Colors!!

      Great to see these early pieces. Beranek set up the factory as an Arts & Crafts or Umelecke Remesla creative workshop. Their creativity was amazing!
