Got these at Salvation Army yesterday with the "geode" bottle I posted earlier. This pair of blue heron wall plaques are very tropical in style which was all the rage back in the day. People wanted that Cuban, Florida- Hawaiian look in their homes. They had a few scrapes and nicks but touched up very nice with a black marker and some tube watercolors. They are marked "1969 Miller Studio Inc." on the bottom edges. -Mike-

Need to wear my glasses ....I did not see the Miller marks stamped into the bottom edges. Being black they are almost invisible....lol Although the one on Etsy website says 40's-50's guess they didn't look too well either. -Mike-

Touched up with markers and water colours eh?
I find nail polish also makes an excellent fix all!

Yep.... At least with the plaster finishes that aren't shiny.Watercolors in the tube are fairly thick and have a matte finish so they fill in well and you can mix them to get the exact color. Black Sanford marker is great on black areas. It's matte as well and can be blended with a Q tip and a bit of alcohol if needed.
