I recently purchased this bedroom suite from an online garage sale in our town. She had originally posted it for $800 which I didn't think was too out of line; I fell in love with it. She finally came down to $425 after I talked to her. I have no information about it except it's marked with Montgomery Ward on one of the bed rails. The set also includes the footboard for the bed.
I have looked online for days and I can't find any information on it; I have seen similar ones but not the same.
If anyone has any info about it, I would appreciate it. I feel that I got a good deal even if it may not be old, as I said I fell in love with it.
    Thanks very much!
    Karen

Wards catalog archives are available online if you look for them. I think you will find this is post WWII.

Nice set-- I'd put it in the 1930s based on the style.

Thanks! If that's the case, it's a lot older than I first thought. It really is in good condition to be that old.

The style is right for the late 30's but the castors in pic #1 aren't if I am seeing them correctly.
