As I mentioned yesterday when posting the Ultima Thule jugs, I can't always share an item whenever i plan to... there's a whole messy process that will always makes me postpone it or even totally forget about it. In this case, I've been wanting to share this tango vase for months now, but I've never been able to.
You've seen simmilar designs to this one before: first the truly amazing blue and yellow cut vase from Bohemian's glass collection: http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/113783-loetz-prod-nr-iii-1119-20-cm-a-commis
and then Moonstone's Candia Papillon vase, which i love for its wavy rim:
And now here you have the Tango version of it :)
I felt in love with it when Carlos first showed it to me about four months ago: the boldness of the yellow colour, which in fact fades from a deep orange-ish cadmium yellow to a lighter shade of it, the Bibendum-looking shape... the size, standing almost 20 cm tall and with that wide rim. It truly is a beauty!!!
