I love this bowl,but I don't know anything about it.Could it be uranium glass,im not sure.Its a lovely shape. :)

I think it will Glow, IMHO.....Love it!!

love it too....I appears to be Vaseline, but to be sure put a black lite on it..my problem I have a few pieces I believe are Vaseline, but have no black lite...lol but your piece is either a candy jar..or for the dresser for powder and a puff...love it
I don't have a black light either,it is quite big,I have one of those pink glass dressing table sets on a glass tray but this is much much bigger :)
Its definitely looks like Depression glass with uranium in it. The handle on the lid looks like it will have a very high glow. Vaseline glass is a Canary yellow aka Canary glass.
If you have one of those lighters with a blue laser built in you can also use that to check for uranium or you can buy the pens that have the blue laser and then a red laser so you can also check for cracks and chips in china

No it was made near Czech, it is an Bohemian Arthur Schöler green glass lidded candy bowl or powder jar. I have some myself.
The manufacturer is called A. Sch., Haida, Sudeten.
The company existed only 6 years from 1939 to 1945.
When these items were new they had a gold sticker on the lid that displayed the makers name, over time they fell off and the items moved further around the world, so nobody knew where they came from.
and yes it is uranium depression glass.
Made during world war 2, in Czech under German occupation and during this time in england there was a ban on the production of uranium glass.
