    Excavated from under a old foundation in lower mass,...I am unable to find anything that looks even close to these pieces,....I have been searching for WEEKS,...any info or idea's would be so helpful!

      Portuguese tiles! Was it the site of a consulate?

      Hi dont know too much but I've been to europe quite a few times and see similar new versions in some of the shops obviously for the holiday makers, some of the bigger cities have tile warehouses that stock these sort of tiles but these look like older tiles to me , I would say poss spanish / portugese, I think delft did some also france but theyre different colours, if your in usa they may be mexican!! Looks like theyre all hand painted..lovely tiles m8 good find I love them

      it very well could be that old,....the house is dated 1790's

      You could try looking on a delft website as some of the plates they made had similar colours and pics .. the other listing youve got I think are spanish/mexican as they have the bulls on some !! Good luck searching

      Spanish Colonial Revival and Mediterranean Architecture were very popular 1910-1930. They extensively used tiles like this in the designs. The home--as the source of the tiles--was destroyed and built over or trucked in as fill to the location. You could do a records search to solve that mystery.

      in my travel's around the internet,...I have not been able to fins much on these AT all....seen one piece on "etsy" but they to had no real info.
