    Does anyone know if this is a dispenser of sort or the history of it? Pic is reversed but the front has etched Hills High Class Table Water Porcelain Lined Syphon and Padiham.
    On the metal cap is Hill, Padiham England

      This is a seltzer bottle and is (was) used to carbonate water. Some have a holder for a small CO2 cartridge while others were 'filled' at a distributor's plant (Hills High) would be a good guess. Possibly from the 30s to 50s...
