Nice print. From what I can read of the text (in Italian): "The Holy Sudarium (of Jesus Latin for sweat-cloth), kept in the royal chapel of Turin. - This painting by an unknown artist in 1662 or 63. ??? of the sacred relic. At the center is the archbishop of Turin Michele Beggiamo; leftmost Francesca d'Orleans, the first wife of ??? and the Duchess Christina of France; to the right, Duke Carlo Emanuele II of Savoy and Don Gabriel (Royal Library of Turin).

Perfect timing for the upcoming Easter! Thanks for sharing!

i.e. a picture of the Archbishop of Turin, Michele Beggiamo, holding up the Shroud of Turin, together with hi two buddies, and some prominent ladies!

The shroud is kept in Turin, and this painting is then from the year the Archbishop Beggiamo was appointed.
