Beautiful little vase! I have seen a similar shape (not exactly the same) with mistletoe applied in a smilar manner that has been attributed to Goldberg, but it was green, I believe. I am just curious - how is this attributed to Harrach? Just want to know more so I can learn to differentiate between them! :)

Hmmm...I'm thinking the mistletoe pattern is a lot more flowing/elegant than those I have seen on Goldberg...

hi michelle, i've been looking on liveauctioneer and artvalue to see all vases produced with mistloe. the harrach i've found is the same shape and mesures, with silver patina for the mistloe (mine have used patina, the original is with much silver) another mùodel also in green in bigger size, also harrach with green glass.

Hi paris, sorry it has taken me so long in getting back to you, and thank you for your examples. Interestingly, similar examples here in the US seem to be usually attributed to Carl Goldberg, while in Europe the examples seem to be attributed to Harrach! :) Here is a US example:

But here is the interesting thing - Goldberg often used other company's blanks for their acid-cutback decoration. There is a great description of it here:

So perhaps your vase is a Harrach blank, decorated by Goldberg? :)
