I recently received this trunk. I can't find a name on it or find much information in it. It's real pretty, but not sure where I'm going to place it.

Certainly different, the way it opens.
Delete one of those & add, B-i-g project!
Definitely a dresser trunk.. too bad it is missing trays.... but I would construct some simple ones to put in. The hardware on wood on it is really good,, canvas can be taken off easily enough to expose the pine body if you so desire. This is a relatively rare form of trunk so it would be worth the refinishing. Thanks for the post... gives me hope I can still find one someday.
