      I love them if they are real. Repros have probably been made for over 100 yrs.. Only an expert can tell you. Bonne chance.

      Thank you blunderbuss2! I wouldn't even know where to find an expert! My husband's former wife collected antiques which I inherited. She passed away, neither of us are really sure about them but would love to find out more!

      Ask around & surely you will find an antique collector who can help or refer you to somebody who might know. Be sure to start with, "I don't want to sell these but just want to know if they are real?"

      I appreciate your help Blunderbuss2! I did read somewhere that the counterfeit notes are still highly collectible but will start looking for an expert in my area!
