    Saw this tile at a bazar in Afghanistan; thout it was interesting but not sure it is Afghan; the vender said it came from Mazar-e-Sharif.

      Love old tiles !! Especially picture ones, this one definatly looks like that part of the world , dont think its too old cos the oldies were flat backed but a great tile.. old persian antiques are hard to get hold of and aparently illegal to ship out of the U.S.A , not sure about the rest of the world, I found this when I was checking out what I thought were chinese vases which turned out to be from iran, they are listed in art pottery .. you just dont see much stuff from that part of the world which is a shame cos they made some beautiful things...:-)
