As soon as I walked by this vase I fell in love. I assumed it was out of my price range being that I was at an upscale antique mall. I kept going back and the vase was still there. So on this day I decided to ask the price. Well, it started in the hundreds and I kept talking hoping to get the price down. Believe it or not I purchased it for a whole $40.00. There is a crack on the bottom which is common for a vase of this style used for umbrellas or canes. I have done some research and found that it sells for approx. $1400.00 damaged! Wow!! That made my day. That's what make "junking" as I call it so much fun. You never know what you'll come across.
I'm very interested as to how you did that research! I have found a vase that is very similar, and actually a little more ornate!
