Found at a bottle dump few weeks back. No glass makers mark on bottom, but has bubbles in the glass. approximate size 2 1/8" x 7/8" x 1/2".

it could be both , but I say its art deco and its a perfume bottle.
There is no stopper, and the tip looks more like a ball point pen. I can't find any other perfume bottles that dispense like this. The only thing that resembles the tip is an oil lamp/candle. I believe the tip is supposed to unscrew, however it appears that it has been rounded and a wrench won't fit anymore, once removed, It could be refilled and change the wick. The bottle moves loosely, as I think it had a seal of some kind that is rotted and missing. (this is only my guess) I have looked for the maker of the mark on the front and have not been able to locate anything on it either.
The doent have to be a stopper , as I can see theres a cap on there .
I will try to get a pic looking down from the top. Yes there is a tiny hole.
If it does come out, it's not very easy, and would take 2 people. I would like to get as much info on it as possible, before trying something that might damage it.
The bottle is a tiny or mini perfume bottle for the Lentheric company-the logo is the back to back Ls with the crown on the top. The scent name was Shanghai.
Very interesting - thank you. I've been searching for a picture of this Lentheric mini bottle, lots of ads, and actual bottles from the Shanghai scent era. However I also found information on something called a "Bakelite Touch Perfumer" which might explain how the perfume would have been applied. No bottle cap, no atomizer or dabber. You just touch the top to your skin and the perfume comes out.
