      I have a Buffalo Better Built 2.5 Gallon, however it is copper and I think may be older, it has a pump handle on top, any idea on when it was made???

      My wife wanted to sell it at a garage sale for 5 Bucks I said notway!..Thanks, Douglas

      Regarding the Buffalo pump can that Doug has, I'm almost certain that the soda acid or foam extinguishers could be older. But they were made for lots of years so both were probably made simultaneously.
      My Dad had a fire equipment sales and service business in Lewiston, Idaho, when I was a kid (I'm now 62) and I helped him service ka-jillions of these old extinguishers.

      i have a buffalo copper fire extinguisher that was my Papas and is a 1931 one it is tarnished,but great condition. still has hose and all. i wanted to know if how to make it nice again, and if it is something i should keep for my boys as far as being a investment value wise?
