(720 items)
I collect these old 1940's-50's hosiery & glove boxes....have 40+ of them right now. They don't last forever so am always looking for replacements. Come in handy to organize by color, metal, etc small items because they aren't heavy - smaller than shoeboxes and easy to pull out w/one hand. Here's my past post that shows them:

My friend Dorothy found this gorgeous green paisley and mailed it to me today from Iowa. I haven't seen this one. It's in perfect shape. Thank you I LOVE IT! Transferred most of my green over to share.
The divided long skinny boxes are very nice to tuck in goodies not to be scratched. But mostly I wrap items in tissue or old hankies.
Thank you Lee for seeing this right away! I have a 2nd grn box of "glass, jade and stone" so you don't see your presents to me in there....I think the bangle IS peaking out tho. This is my Plastic grn box.
Thanks Mike, Ken and Agh! for your fast response! I am trying to post this on FB so my friend Dorothy can enjoy.
Definitely a luminous idea to match the box color with the treasures inside!
I'm green too now ;-)
Love it! Just a great color and feel to it.
The bird in the shoe, so dang cute!

Hello valentino97! I love your post!! The box, the content, the color and the photos! Excellent! Green is your favourite color?
Always thanks for love: Kevin, Phil, Hunter, geo, racer, petey, sara, nadia and tom!
Thank you idclosionne for your green comments! These are good to organize your stash.
Kyratango - yes thank you for loving the green! I know where my green items are. On my boxes w/copper I put a tiny safety pin. Most of the boxes are red, pink or blue so very fun to have this.
Amber - thanks for loving my valentino story.
Elisabeth - yes - green is my favorite color!
Love that display. Really catches the eye!
I remember this from 5 years ago and how much I had loved your idea, and the great image in green. Great Stuff Mary!
Lovely green treasures and so beautifully displayed. Love it.
