I have a Longines pocket watch in a glass display case which I was given many years ago. My recollection is that the case was made either in WWI trenches or POW camps (maybe WWII) but I cannot find anything similar on the www. The basic case appears to be made of scrap metal but the glass (almost square, beveled, on the front, and triangular, beveled on the 2 sides, quite thick) would seem to be custom made. Any information?
