    It's a hat~trick!
This is a wonderful piece made by the German potter & actor, Anton Lang.
I admit that I loved the piece when I found it, imperfect though it be, but also admit that I loved it even more when I read some about it's maker.
He lived from 1875 ~ 1938. Played the part of Jesus 3 times in the Oberammergau Passion Play in the early 1900's,.....that's something, isn't it?
One leaf is chipped, and there's one other possible loss,( may have been a bud on one of the stems ).
The signature is different from the signature on other pots of his that I've seen,....looks handwritten, not stamped,( I think all of the other ones I've seen have been stamped, in the script of his handwriting, but stamped )
Always appreciate looks, loves, and comments!

This is an early signature, he looped the A around 1920 is what I read. I don't know for sure what year when he started looping the A. I know the loop is there in 1922 and after for sure.
