    I recently bought this trunk and would like to know any information about it. Hopefully, the year it was manufactured. It is a metal trunk dark green color, with gold color hinges and lock. The lock says excelsior Stamford CO 5985. Also the leather handle has the numbers 40 106. I appreciate any information thanks!

      This is called a "Wardrobe trunk" and appears to be from the 1920 - 30's. The numbers on the handles are simply parts numbers as well as the lock.
