This clock is beautiful. It still keeps the correct time and has a wonderful gong on the half and full hour. I inherited it 16 years ago when my grandfather past. I have no idea when it was made. I only know he got it during WWII.

It is not an exact match, but your clock is very similar to a Sessions Clock called the "Brewster". I see three relatively minor differences, otherwise the models look the same. The Brewster is from circa 1923 so I would assume that your grandfather's clock was too. Thanks for sharing.

In my catalog illustration, the feet were different, the side ornaments were not lion heads and there was no cast 'ribbon' below the dial. I've found another example online which has feet similar to your clock but the dial is different so it would also have three cosmetic differences.

That one appears to be covered with smoke film too.
Just so long as the dial is original, it's not that significant that slightly different models or even examples of the same model have different "versions" of the dial.

Now here's one with the medallion (or cast ribbon) like yours, but it too is brown, has a plain dial and the smaller feet like the example I found in one of my references: http://p2.la-img.com/276/9234/1853729_1_l.jpg
So we seem to have a basic model with variations in the side ornaments, the presence or absence of a cast ribbon decoration below the dial, two different versions of feet and some variation on the dial face.
I think it's most likely that this clock was made in the early 1920s as per my reference materials.
