This is a porcelain flask, approx 6 inches tall. Mint condition, with no fading or scratches. I've never seen another like it. ;)

Has anyone seen this before? Love to know an approximate value.

This bottle is from Germany and was made by Schafer and Vater. Known as "giveaways" these bottles, filled with whiskey, were given away to the best customers by pre-prohibition saloon owners. The bigger the bottle the better the customer.

The label on the bottom is neat and uncommon. Thanks for sharing!

      Cheers,
      Scott

Scott, thanks for you information! I was able to find a picture of this in a collectors collection on a Schafer and Vater Collectors page. I had never seen another.
Do you have any idea of value? Not that I want to sell, just for personal info.
      Thanks again, great help!

That bottle isn't particularly rare. If it is in mint condition and considering the label on the bottom I would say $125 to $150. Check old ebay auctions for more info.
      Cheers!
      Scott
