It amazes me to see the trouble that early Glass Makers went to embellish their wares. This delicate and little 5 1/4" vase is richly decorated with enameling and gold and would probably have been one of a pair at one time. The Robin Blue is similar to a perfume bottle uploaded by CW member "smiata" and hers is also profusely gilded.

Thank you smiata.....I dug this one out of storage and found some other examples of bigger Perfume bottles in Robin Blue. Will post them later. (BOB)
