Here you have another Murano glass item, although this time is a less spectacular one. This ashtray you could see on top of the red kidney table in the Zanusso's Lady chair posting (pic. 4 at http://www.collectorsweekly.com/stories/128930-lady-chair-and-sofa-marco-zanusso-arfl?in=user).

So far, who the maker can be remains a mistery... I've been unable to find out other simmilar murrine ashtrays.

The colours are simply amazing together: red, blue, white in the murrine, and then the yellow background... I love the look of it, almost like something you can find at a tropical sea bed!

I wonder if any of you recognizes this as the work of a particular Murano factory. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for your love Amber, Moonstone, Sean and Antiquerose!!!

A very colourful one, Amber :)

Agh, if Carlos finallly goes to the other house this weekend as planned and I remember to tell him to take that pic, we might one next week. It was silly of me not taking one, but as far as i can remember, it's not signed and it's a flat base.
