    I picked up this mixing bowl a few wks ago at the Alameda Point Antique Fair. It's about 10" wide and has a small chip in the outside lip. It doesn't have a makers mark on it, but the rings are so prominent and unique it seems like someone should recognize the maker. i'd guess that it was from the 1930s or 40s. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

      Ah crumb! I think I had its twin in my hand today. I was thinking Bauer as a possibility.

      Thank you AmberRose! too bad you didn't get it. i have quite a collection of old bowls and this one is particularly cool looking. i love aqua and i love orange [anything!].

      I remember these bowls...I think you're right, 30's 40's. Maybe that's why you really don't see a whole bunch of them as they were used daily for cooking! Love that color too!
