Old Route 66 Sign

This great old sign came off of the old Route 66 about 30 mi out of Gallup NM. It was in front of an old abandoned gas station with an old visible gas pump still standing by it. We felt very fortunate to be able to buy this old sign and move it to aaaLakeside Storage in Provo. The full story of how we managed to purchase it is very exciting. For those that know signs, this was originally a Phillips 66 sign that was painted over to show what it shows now. Phillips Oil marketers were brilliant when they decided to take on the US Highway shield design and also change their name to Phillips 66 to go along with the new look!
