The USS Burton Island AG-88 was commissioned on Dec 28, 1946 as a Navy Ship. In 1966 The Navy transferred the ship to the US Coast Guard and it was renumbered WAGB-283. The ships telegraph is located in a anitque shop near by me.

    Just about bought one of these beauties in Halifax last summer. The shiping was the killer. Sad face
