      It is a sprocket (for a chain) not a gear, as shown in the above link.
      It would be next to impossible to identify what piece of JD equipment it actually came from.

      Sorry, but we can tell what it came from in general, the series of JD models that used this gear as per the link I posted -- oh and it is a gear...

      looks like a factor machine gear ..looks like it was some kink of timing gear or part of a match set meant to a line with each other..my guess...lol
