When I saw this at GW this morning the first thing I thought was "Wow this looks just like the pieces "Graycay2004" posts". So I guess I've been paying attention and learning something after all. I turned it over and the price sticker was blocking the mark. I could barely see the word "COFRAC" from the other side on the bottom. I guess this would qualify as a "wave " form although there is a larger one (22") on Ebay and they call it an "Aladdin's Lamp" form. This one is only 15" long , 5" wide , and 6" tall at the higher end. Not sure about the vintage so I'll just say 20th century to be safe. It's in perfect condition too ! -Mike-

Glad you have been paying attention Mike, this is a nice example of a "wave" form by Cofrac. I saw one just like it recently but didn't buy it because I have run out of display space. I have been regretting the decision ever since. New rule, buy first, think later!
      Regards, William.

Thank you William :).... I know all to well the feeling of regret. It's happened to me more that once as well. I've learned to always trust my instincts. You can worry about where to put things when you get them home. -Mike-

They are awesome lumps of glass aren't they Mike!
I have only seen one in real life --- fantastic (even being so colourless lol!)

They sure are Karen :) ...... what it lacks in color it makes up for it in the shape. Not something I've seen much of in the thrifts. I was surprised that it was a good piece and not a cheap knock off. It has an amazing fluid shape and ring !

The lack of perceivable colour gives an impression of purity to the form .

There is a lot of glass out that uses colour to hide the deficiencies of style, form and quality, wouldn't you agree Karen? The French know that less is more.
