I also collect Soviet watches. From before the fall of the Iron curtain. This a Luch..which means ray of light. Soviet watches have a long history..Pre and post the 1914 Revolution. There was a dead period after the revolution, until they bought the American company Duber Hampden, lock, stock and barrel. They brought all of the plant to to the U.S.S.R. along with employees of the company to teach watchmaking manufacturing to the Russians.
I love soviet watches because of their often wild designs and color dials. This one is a little tamer. But the case is very sculpted, its not just a simple square. It has subtle curves.
I will put up a bold color dial Luch next. Hope you enjoy my collection. P&P
