This is an Indian tree pattern desser plate (20 cm) with impressed word "COPELAND" in curved form without a crown above mark used between c. 1850-67 and also the Printed mark used between 1867 and 1890, (http://www.thepotteries.org/mark/c/copelandWT.html ) and the impressed registry diamond is hard to read, so I conclude that the plate is as early as 1867. I bought it to Olga a long time ago I do not remember the price. It was the first time I could find here a plate from that time, remember that Cordoba was almost a village; I post a Daguerreotype from 1860. I always think how this old things could manage to reach my house. In fact all our relatives came after 1867. The plate is as new, perhaps no one used it because of the iridized glazed it has all over.

What a fine interpretation of the Indian Tree design. Like your plate I too come from Staffordordshire and am pleased to see a little bit of Staffordshire from long ago posted here.

Well, I couldn't find my particular MYOTT Indian Tree hallmark anywhere on that site, unless I'm missing something. :(

Thanks, kivatinitz, no my hallmark isn't in there. I'll post a thread showing the cups and hallmarks, maybe someone can help me solve the mystery! :)
