Just found this pretty 3/4" salmon celluloid bangle to add to my collection. It is really pretty with non-repeat carving. Tulips or California poppies! in picture 1 and chrysanthemum/daisy/roses around the rest. Residue from removed sticker inside matches size of the cream Japan ones I posted earlier. So, yes this is from Japan - 50's or 60's.
I think this is how they were made. Not hand-carved like bakelite. They are from molds flat, cut - heated, rounded, fused and glued to form a bracelet. So on and so on.
Of all I own this salmon one has nicest quality but still isn't the best.
Thank you agh, sean, kevin and geo for the quick loves.
Nice my friend!

Hi Sharone! Yes, you were almost a Halloween baby. Thanks for the love. This is really pretty isn't it? Did you like my other "matching" salmony orange plastic?
Thanks to all 24 friends for love!
Thank you Gudrun - I remember you love this color too.
Thanks Ken - yes, it's really lovely. These are not as expensive or collectible as bakelite but a gorgeous celluloid example from the 50's/60's.
