    I have enjoyed this treasure for many years, but have not found any history about it. The only English is on the authorization page where the official release for publication was given. I noticed on the front, it also has John Martin. Since I don't read German I would enjoy find more information.

      Hi there. You have a bible published by John E. Potter and Company of Philadelphia. It was mass produced for german immigrants from the 1860s until the late 1880's. They're fairly common, but I am looking for one in good condition. Let me know if you're interested in selling.
