this was a very much appreciated birthday present from about 15 years ago. i remember the first day i had it i helped a friend in his just purchased house( wich had to be renovated ) and showed him how to chisle some tiles from the wall and scratched my watch with a hammer, bummer but it pleased me for years after that and now it is in the drawer for years. but i still like the design very much and it shines because the metal is not just a thin layer it is solid, thank you movado thank you friend!!

It's a real timeless classic, no pun intended. These watches never go out of style.

Nice post. I picked up a knock off of one of these in the early 1990's in Time Square, NYC for like $10. It lasted about 6 months before the glue holding the gold dot to the face gave out and the dot was just sliding around the faceplate like a one man air hockey game.

You certainly get what you pay for. :)

      Thanks for posting.

sorry mister esotheric this is not a watch you buy on time square for 10 dollars, unless you buy it off an ignorant thief off course, the prices are around 1000 euros. so my conclusion is that you bought a cheap fake but nevertheless you have good taste!!!
