Very nice, use airplane stripper works faster.
I did...thanks for the tip. Guess I got used to using oven cleaner on painted signs!
Late 60's, the old ones from the 50's said be sure with pure. And the real old ones said TIOLENE on them I have one they are from the 20's.
I really know nothing of the value of these big signs these days...I know what I paid for this one with its original post, which I felt was alot but I knew it was in very good condition when I first saw it, and how often do you find these anymore? Any ideas on value with two good sides and a post?
The pole and frame are on EBAY for 800.00, sign may be 500 to 800 dollar range.
