This is a money clip I've had for years. It has a common date Morgan silver dollar dated 1921. A silver dollar contains almost 3/4 ounce of pure silver. All U.S. silver coins dated 1964 and earlier are 90% silver and 10% copper. Sterling silver is however much purer. Depending on the sterling, most is either 925 or 950 which is 92 1/2% % 95% pure silver respectfully.
