    This is my first example of the Loetz decor known as Metallin. This decor has a crystal ground powdered with silvery gray dust; green, brown, violet, or blue covering layer. Brown is seen less frequently than the more common green or blue. Rib optic panels add interest to this simple form. For more examples and reading, see the page on Metallin found here:

      Very nice acquisition. I believe the Loetz Brown Metallin is really lovely, especially in person (it's a bit tricky to photograph IMHO).
